Description:

NASSCOM is hiring a Power BI Analyst to anchor data accuracy, validation pipelines, and dashboard reporting for FutureSkills Prime (FSP)—a high-profile digital skilling initiative joint-governed by NASSCOM and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). In this role, you will bridge the gap between internal business stakeholders and external technical data vendors. You will design enterprise-grade reporting solutions, write custom analytical parameters, and automate business data ingestion streams. A critical accountability centers on end-to-end quality assurance: executing exhaustive database-to-dashboard reconciliations, tracking vendor fix SLAs, and preparing audited data narratives tailored to strict Indian government programmatic reporting frameworks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative technical field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience operating inside data analytics, business intelligence engineering, or system governance environments.
• Advanced, proven hands-on technical proficiency creating, deploying, and maintaining interactive Power BI reports and executive dashboards. High competency writing advanced Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) queries, tuning data modeling hierarchies, and optimizing dashboard rendering performance.
• Practical experience developing and deploying automated workflows and business process loops using Power Automate to handle data updates and report delivery.
• Deep structural expertise in tracking data discrepancies, profiling data anomalies, and conducting exhaustive source-versus-dashboard audits (validating transactional database/raw extracts directly against compiled Power BI data representations).
• Strong capability to manage technical relationship points with data vendors—logging structural issues, auditing schema updates, and strictly monitoring fix resolution Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Familiarity or direct experience managing data modeling, compliance documentation, and audit validation checks mapped to government frameworks, public sector programs, or highly regulated corporate reporting environments.
• Solid understanding of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) data movement architectures, relational database management structures using SQL, data quality control metrics, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) mapping models.
• Exceptional ability to synthesize raw statistical tables into structured, actionable business recommendations and pitch findings clearly to senior management and diverse international stakeholders.
